Privacy Policy

Echols is a private AI product from RMDW LLC. Privacy is the whole point, so this policy is written to be specific about what stays private, what we store to run the service, and the one place where data leaves.
1. Your conversations are private by default
Your chats, code, documents, and anything you type into the core assistant (Jah) are processed on infrastructure RMDW controls. They are not sent to a third-party AI cloud (such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google), not sold or shared, and not used to train any model.
2. What we store, and why
To run your account we store: your email address (for sign-in), your conversation history (so you can return to it), and your plan and usage/credit counts (for billing and limits). That history lives in our database so the product works for you; you can delete any conversation at any time, and you can request full account deletion (see Contact).
3. Studio (image & video) uses external models — the exception
The optional Studio features (image and video generation) are powered by best-in-class external models through a third-party provider. When you generate an image or video, that specific prompt is sent to that external provider to create the result. This is the one part of Echols that is not fully private, and it is labeled at the point of use. By using Studio you consent to those prompts being processed by the external provider under their terms. Your private chats are never sent there.
4. Payments
Payments are handled by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card details — Stripe processes them directly. We store only a customer reference and your subscription/credit status.
5. Email
We send sign-in links and essential account email through Google (Gmail API). We do not send marketing email without your consent.
6. Cookies
We use a single signed session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
7. We don't sell your data
We never sell or rent your personal data or your conversations.
8. Changes
If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you.
